Quickest way to upgrade?

Hi! Can you upgrade from YaBB SE 1.5.5 to SMF just by uploading all the new sources? My host has a slow upload rate and it takes me ages to upload large things. Whats the minimum I have to upload to upgrade? I want to keep all the original YaBB SE images.

You're going to have to upload everything, I'm sorry.  Perhaps you can use ssh and wget, if you're server has those things?
