The Drafts mod allows your users to save drafts of topics and replies. It is provided as is and will not be developed further. Here is a summary of its features.

* Adds the 'Save as Draft' button next to the preview button in both full post/reply and quick reply (between preview and spell check if spell check is enabled)
* Adds an option to Profile > Show Posts (as Profile > Show Posts > Drafts) to view drafts. Note that NO user can see any drafts other than their own.
* There are no limits on the number of saved drafts per user.
Frequently Asked Questions

* What version?

2.0 ONLY. Don't ask about back-porting. There is a drafts mod for 1.1.x.
Installs on 2.0 RC3 - RC5 using version emulation.
* It doesn't save my attachments? Or my calendar events?

No, because as it says when you save a draft, these items are not saved with the draft. Nor are they going to be.
* Are you going to add support for attachments, calendar events or polls?

No.
* Are you going to add a limit to how many drafts a user can have?

No.
* Not even for membergroups?

No.
* Can you move the link to <somewhere else>?

No.
* Can you install it for me because I can't do it myself?

No. We'll help you install it, but we won't do it for you. Any problems, please post in the Small Official Mod Support board on http://www.simpledesk.net.
* Why aren't you answering my support requests on SMF?

Because we're not going to try and support a mod in two places. If you want support, the SimpleDesk Team's Small Official Mod Support board is the place to go.
* But I want it like <xyz>!

Too bad. We're not developing this mod any further.

Sabreā„¢:
I was about to install the old version, but had a look at updated mods and found this.
Thanks and Cheers :)

PurpleCrow:
Stupid question - does this need enabling in the ACP? Just installed it with no errors but the "Save as Draft" button hasnt appeared.

chilly:
@PurpleCrow: what about installed themes?

PurpleCrow:
There werent any options to install it onto other themes (at least I dont think so...) and it doesnt appear on the default Curve theme.
