JS for Editor / QuickResponse

The quick reply doesn't have the editor component normally... the only thing it's supposed to do is to collapse/expand. That doesn't need the editor file loaded.
Are you trying to splice the two together or something else? (It works just fine out of the box.)

The expand / collapse effect is not working, so I can't use QuickReply right now.
You are right: Normally both should work out of the box. As I've wrapped a website around SMF and therefor added layers and heavily customized the index.template.php, some components behave a bit strange and now I have had to explore why. I admit that my solution has been a bit hacky but, generally speaking, now most should work absolutely fine.

So if there are no JS errors, I don't understand why it wouldn't work.
What happens if you click on the expand link? What error does that produce?
