How to save forum content

matt scarlett:
just wanted to know if i could save my forum content so i can sell my site?

JBlaze:
You can save your forum content by doing a database backup, then saving the backup file to your computer or another offline storage. You can also do a full file backup of all files on your server, and doing the same as you did for your database backup.

This way, should you want to start again, you can simply restore the backups and be back up and running.

Sorry to barge into the topic, but a similar question..... is it possible to save just a single topic to your pc and then delete that specific topic?

Thanks in advance

If you do sell just make sure you dont put the same content back up again.  The buyer most likely wouldnt want duplicate content up and would even contact your host and get your account suspended
