Having Problems Allowing Guests Certain Permissions

I have my forum closed to guests, but I've decided to allow them to see the forum statistics ( Number of posts, topics, members, newest member), and possibly who is online. I have checked these permissions for guests, and I have also checked the "allow guests to browse the forum", and nothing. The only thing that happens with these permissions enabled, is that I lose the box on the login/registration page.

Here are some screen caps. The first one is when no permissions are allowed, and the second is with the permissions checked.




It does seem to work on the curve mobile theme I added though, but not on the default theme. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

What other mods do you have installed besides SMFAds?

Ok, so I've waited almost 48 hours before I bumped. Anyone have any idea, or is one of my mods possibly causing the problem?
