All Catholics are Christian. I'm not sure, but Protestants may be. I know that Anglicans and Eastern Orthodox Churches are Christian. Roman Catholic is a subset of Christian, but it wasn't that way until the Great Schism...

The Roman Catholic Church has in no way shape or form accepted birth control. The only thing it allows is NFP, which mains abstain when your wife is ovulating.
The teaching on where you go after death is tricky. In the end, its all up to God. The church teaches that for the most part, you have to be Catholic. You have to live your faith. You have to go to confession.
I hope I don't sound too official, because I'm not. But to get in You pretty much have to believe in God and all that other stuff too. The only real excuse is invincible ignorance -- never even being exposed to Christianity/Roman Catholicism.

My definition of Christian is that you believe that Jesus Christ came and died for us. (I would say more but then I might break the definition.)
Of course, I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - aka Mormon, and many Catholics would hate to call me Christian.... so I guess my definition isn't the Catholic one (???)...

I'm not sure what the technical church definition of "Christian" is, but I'm pretty sure we don't count Mormons as Christians.

I've always assumed it's because we don't believe in the "all-in-one" theory... so we apparently don't believe in Jesus Christ, because we have to believe that he IS God and not separate to be Christian. Even though we do believe in Jesus Christ.
Yeeesh, why not name it "Allinoners" or something then :P?

Geez, make it sound like us Mormons are outsiders to society.... ;)
