How to integrate the design of WordPress?
(1/1)
turaper:
Hey guys.
Firstly, sorry if this topic isnt are on the correct section but i think that this is the better place.
Anyway, i have an existing design installed on WordPres.
Now, i want to install SMF. I already did and now i want to have the same design of the WordPress on SMF. BUT!...
Copying the design... anybody can do that, what i want is that the header and footer of the SMF, have the sames of the WordPress. to this way, "incorporate" the SMF into design of WordPress.
I dont want import post, users and bla bla bla... just integrate the footer and header.
So when you are on site "mysite.com" you have a menu:
home - help - menu1 - forum
And when you click "forum", the same header ("home - help - menu1 - forum") need keep there.
I hope i have expressed well, i dont speak english fluently.
Version: SMF 2.0.2
WordPress version: 3.4.1
Theme: Default.
I dont want put my link coz is a private project. Sorry about that, but coz all the scripts have only "defaults" options and themes, you dont need links, i think.
Orangine:
all you need to do is to copyt header&footer of the WP part and put it into your index.template.php
of course you will need to add relevant parts of the css as well
