What collation of databse should I use for smf

What should be collation for the database that I should use for smf so that I don't have trouble building indexes for smf.
If this is the wrong section to post, kindly move it to appropriate section.

For what it's worth, mine's "utf8_general_ci" and everything seems to work OK. :)
