SMF FTP Error : 530 Login incorrect

Hi All,

While installing any package where SMF ask for FTP info at the bottom, we are facing some error(530 Login incorrect).

FTP Login details are 100% correct and the same credential is being used at FILEZILLA without any probs. (We did it several times~50 times, even created a new FTP User to nullify any potential mistyping in the password section). Even we tried different browser (Firefox/Chrome).

Seems like, something is wrong in the backend of SMF 2.0.2(Since we are using this version).

we need some advice......thanks in advance. Hope to get a Quick Fix from our experts !!!

Which port do you use? Port 21?

Yes, using port 21

In both FileZilla and SMF?

Yes, Using 21 as port no in both of them (FILEZILLA and SMF)
