Board Permission Profiles

Hi,

There will probably be an incredibly basic error that I have made here. The forum is up and running, and as an admin, I can post on all of the boards. However, no other member is able to post. After a bit of checking around, I assume the problem is because of permission profiles. So I sorted out all of the membergroups with the correct permission profiles, but alas, no joy - still no posting. When I checked the settings of each board, when attempting to change the 'Permissions' for each board, there was no option available - it was just a white box.

So I created a new Permission and named it 'Default' hoping that this might just kickstart it into using default permission settings for each board. But that didn't work either. Anyway, at the moment, no matter how I try, I cannot get a user to post on a board.

Any ideas or simple solutions that I have overlooked?

When you say that none of your members can post, can you elucidate?

WHY can't they?

Are they getting errors, are buttons just not appearing, or what?

TSI:
The buttons aren't appearing - none create post, poll etc. That is why I assumed it was a permission problem, though I could be wrong.
