How to correct image url in attachment ??

hello there,

i run a site using smf and i have an image section in my site and i want help on how to correct image url in attachment ?
like
if anyone upload a image using add attachment then after uploading url look like

simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=306987.0;attach=96494;image

i think that kind of url not good for search engines ( please write if i wrong)

so i want help to correct this like

media.simplemachinesweb.com/site/images/icons/intro3.png

Search engines won't be indexing the attachments on their own, they're actually not able to make use of attached files without help anyway (there's no text to index when they receive an attachment), and in the default setup, attachments aren't even shown to search engines or guests anyway.

Seriously, the URL doesn't matter, search engines are quite capable of dealing with it themselves anyway.

i have one more question about image indexing.

what if i create a blog and post all of my images in blog and then post all the images in my forum using these image link.

is this good for my forum and indexing in search engine or any other option for image indexing ?

That'll work fine - and changing the URL makes no difference at that point.
