Hey people, little intro.....
My name is Nico. Me and my friend Chris setup a site, hxxp:www.2xtremeoffroad.com [nonactive], and we had our forum up running ok for about 3 months. Chris accidently did something to the forums, uninstalled them I think, then left for a family emergency and basically left me F-ed.
I got all the files reinstalled in the proper directery, 2xtremeoffroad.com/forums, but I do not know how to restart the forums. He does have a backup on his pc, but he will be gone for a while and I need the site up now!
So how do I axcess the forums so I can reset them? Once I have them up im fine on admin and changing them.
This also put us way behind on our new site, hxxp:www.xtremeridez.com [nonactive] >:(
Any help is greatly appreated, thanks in advance

You'll need to restore a back-up of the /forums directory and you must also have a back-up of the MySQL database to restore it.
Grudge:
To be honest. I would imagine your database is still intact if he only deleted the files. All you should need to do is upload the files and then edit Settings.php with your mySQL database details (the username/password etc). I'm assuming that you were using SMF and not YaBBSE? If you *were* using YaBBSE I would recommend installing YaBBSE *first*, get it working then upgrade to SMF.
Hope this helps in some way...
