Topic: Background Colours for different topics.

Sorry to start a topic before looking but I dont even know what to look for.

Our site is there for people to offer help to anyone who asks it. Recently we've had a few people offering fostering and some offering transport however we dont want to have loads of different subsections so what i'm looking for is a way of making the background colours different depending whats offered.

for example: http://not.dnsalias.org/index.php/board,173.0.html

It's a white background with black writing for them all, is there a way of customising which topic has which background colour? Does that make sense at all? lol

This would require a change to the way topics are output, you would need to apply a class for each specific topic to be able to change its colour.

I'm going to move this into the Mod Requests board as I think you'll get a better response there.

Have you considered prefixes?

Prefixs would be ideal, though we arent sure how many there would be. Could end up wih a boatload lol.

I've just tried this and it says there is an error, I've been and looked through the thread talking about the mod and it seems you have to change coding. I have NO idea how to do this,
Is there something else that doesn't require me to do something like that?
