Custom header...?
trebor09:
oh yea ..... it works ......
did you want me to start a new topic...?
K@:
We can split this, if it goes much further.
Depends on what you regard as "Easy".
Have a look at the file "index.css", in the theme's "css" directory.
You'll find the various sections marked. The colours will be in Hex format.

Might be easier just to get a purplish green theme, though.

(Never seen a purplish green colour, myself, though. Purplish blue, or purplish red, maybe. But, purplish green??) ;)

well on that note......
I'm hosted with godaddy..... they make SMF an auto install from they're site.......
they also have a in-site tool for downloading mods off of SMF.....
but it won't install themes automatically
so I'm at the push a bottom stage..... but when I install some of the mods..... I get warnings that this and that file ...failed...... so I don't install it......
and keep searching for something thats simple...... as I don't really want to complicate things for myself or crash my site.....
as I get used to this software and start to remember the last place I left off .... back in 1995.... I'm sure I'll be able to do more complicated tasks.....
Right now I need to get the site up and running ..... with a fair amount of the work .... at least the basic stuff out of the way.........
if color and scheme isn't that simple then I'll wait......
That just leaves one last Question then......
In the beginning I also asked about an Ads mods...... something that works with my google account like what they do on youtube.....
So I can do my affiliate thing on my site......
Old Fossil:
The ad management will be the one.
Also have a look at the mod emulate link in my sig.
Will be very useful to know.
K@:
Whatever else you do, Trebor, remember my sig. ;)
You can do whatever you like, as long as you backup first.
That way, if you DO screw anything up, you're covered. :)
