How, exactly, do you think Git got its name? The urban legend is that its developer didn't name it so much considering it as a noun but a descriptive term for another developer and given what was going on at the time, I am actually more likely to believe the urban legend than I am the 'official story' as quoted on Git's Wikipedia page.

Not a clue. My interest in that kinda thing's minimal, to be honest, coz I doubt I'd understand it. ;)
