the " currently makes problem when it is in a description for a smiley, because when it's not escaped, the editfield for the smiley only shows the description until the first " in the description and the other problem, connected to that, is that the output of this passage:

shows me an java-error in the internet-explorer and the pop doesn't show when i click on the more link.

i edited the smiley via phpmyadmin and it worked.
