Emails not being sent out SMF V 2.0 beta 4

My forum is not sending out emails when it is supposed to like when a new member registers or when I try to send through the newsletters option. I think it has something to do with my host but not sure.

Is the board set to send the mails through the mail() function, or SMTP?

If it is set to send through Mail(), try setting up an email account and enter
the details for SMTP in the Admin ControlPanel. If you've already tried using
SMPTP, switch over to mail() and try again.

I'm not sure if hosts, even most cheap or even free ones shut off the mail()
function.

 have it set for PHP because my host disabled SMTP. I also know Send mail is enabled.

Then i'm out of ideas other then tripple check the settings in ACP  :-\

Must be my host then. If anyone has information on hyperphp that might shed some light.

I think i figured it out they send it four days later not the same day which is a headache.
