Spam Registration

I have only just released my forum, already it has 13 spam members.

I have tried mods, but most dont work.

Can anyone recommend any..

Use the anti-spam questions feature - Admin > Configuration > Security and Moderation > Anti-Spam.

Set a good question or a couple of good questions that relate to your forum and its content, and that if you were to copy/paste the question into Google, the answer is not immediately obvious.
