So are you saying, that I should just rename my folder in themes named "Converted" , to default to avoid this problem when updating in the future, or just move my boardindex/index templates from converted folder, to the default, and then run update.php again? When you say "Rename it from converted" what exactly do you mean? It seems like there are these two files in each SMF default, Yabbse, and converted sub folders. I'm just a bit confused on the themes/template part of the new forum, sorry about all the questions.

No, you should not edit or modify default, because that will cause problems in the future.

I mean, rename "converted" to something like "beta4converted" and delete the theme from the manager... then try converting again.

Upgrade won't convert the theme if it's already there.

Is there anything else different in index.template.php own made theme than version numba in beginning of file, or can the version number only be changed so it show 1.0 beta 5 instead of 4.1 in version check??
