Custom question in registration
(1/1)
woden:
I would like to add a custom question in the registration form.
For instance if I had a Civil War forum I could ask "Who was the real hero of the battle of Gettysburg"
There could be many different answers but as an Admin I could review the answer to help me determine if this is a real person interested in this forum or just another bot or internet turd looking to cause havoc.
This would only be needed in the registration form and the answer shown in the admin approve new members page.
Help anyone?
I am sick of these spammers

Thank You!

Uh, don't those questions expect exact answers? I think the OP is looking for "essay" type questions. For the example given, I could answer Meade, or Chamberlain, or Lee, or even Pickett (or any one of hundreds of others). Only one (if any) would match the official answer. I vaguely recall seeing something about "essay" answers (mod?) that would be reviewed by the Admin, "Why do you want to join" type questions.
