403 Forbidden error
Bogdank:
Every now and then while browsing my forum, either logging in or making a post i would constantly get "403 Forbidden errors" followed by:

What mods are installed
MrPhil:
Check that mod_security has been disabled. That often causes 403 errors. Even particular user names or passwords might possibly be flagged on login. That it happens consistently, but only "now and then", is a bit puzzling, but mod_security would be the place to start. Then you can look at directory and file permissions and ownership, and see if anything's amiss.
Ignore the 404 error. That's just a bug in the Apache server (you don't have a set of custom error documents). Read my sig > FAQs > Missing Support Files if you want to get rid of that message.
