Hello all,

after a wonderful holiday week in sunny italy am back.

Visited the province Marche.




My hotel was in a nature protection reservation about 15 mins outside of the village Ripatransone, here is a photograph of this beautiful historical village:



That was around 20 minutes away from the beach. Many historical locations around there, we also made several excursions. Here some photographs of Ascoli Piceno.



Also visited the Grotte di Frasassi, a giant labyrinth of drop stone holes, the biggest in Europe.

Since Switzerland is not having an ocean, I enjoyed very much to visit the ocean, in San Benedetto or Grottamare. Here a picture of the palm passaga at San Benedetto and from the Grottamare beach:

Thank you for caring, Axplosion. Oh yes I know about the dangers in italian streets. Some years ago we even lost a girl from our office by a car accident in Italy...
