Redirecting problems...

Is there anyway that you can make SMF not redirect you if you enter a link that does not exist for ex: If I enter example.com/instertthinghere and that link does not exist it will take me to example.com but I want it to not do that and just show the normal 404 error page is there anyway to do that?

If example.com is your forum, then no. For an unknown action SMF will always default to the board index.
