May be a silly question but if I install SMF Gallery will I have issues migrating it to any future new version of SMF as its a separate Package?

If you are using my SMF Gallery mod I will always be around and make sure it works for every version of SMF.
Currently it works with SMF 1.0.x, SMF 1.1.x and SMF 2.0.x

Thanks for that VB.  So when a new version of SMF comes out I'd install mods like this and the new one would bring everything up as was ?

Yes it is always going to be that easy of a process. All data is always stored in the database.
