ahrasis:
Just a question. Why wedge license is not considered open here in SMF? I have read wedge license, it sounds open enough to me.

vbgamer45:

--- Quote ---Your name is not Jonathan Valentin (aka "vbgamer45") or Alex Kühne (aka "Akyhne"), and you don't work with any company associated with them

--- End quote ---
Well that counts me out and anybody who ever works for me or uses my stuff.

ahrasis:
Sorry for that. But so far that I know, open source or not, that provision is valid as they have right to do so. Whatever happens between you guys are personal and may be resolved personally.

Kindred:
of course the provision is "valid". You can write any restrictions that you want into a license (within certain legal limitations).
You could say that "only red heads under 4 feet can use this software"
(Doesn't mean it will be honored or that it would stand up in court, but you can write it that way)

ahrasis:
Lol. I understand. Hope you guys will able to resolve whatever problems that you have with each other. It is none of my business, really. ;)
