Installation Problem? or what?

I thought I installed the SMF successfully. But I get "Your session timed out while posting, please go back and try again" I get the same message if I try to logout. Need help

i'm in no way an expert, but it sounds to me like the settings in your host's php.ini file, don't have sessions enables.
