Both count as long as each post is a worthwhile contribution rather than spammy non-replies for the sake of increasing your post count.

Logically this is a support forum, in which case you have joined either to request support or to support others, in either case your signature is the least of your concerns and satisfying the post count won't be a problem  ;)
