It's BSD licensed now so, should you feel the need to, you can remove the theme-generated copyright (but not the ones in the source code files). However it's not very courteous to do so and could result in loss of support from the Simple Machines team/community.

It's quite useful if you keep it for the first couple of posts a user makes. It can help cut down on spam from spam-bots. :)

Is there no Quick-post enabled here?  Or do I have to wait to be able to use that? :P

Quick reply can be enabled under the 'Look and Layout' section of your profile.

Or, if it's on a SMF forum you administrate, you can enable it through your Admin panel for all users.
