Adf.ly on Download Links?

Is there a way to add the Adf.ly script to auto code all attachment links?

I know how to use the script to auto code all outgoing links but I don't believe it works on the attachments, or does it? I don't have internet and am posting from my phone atm so I can't really test so if anyone can help me out or let me know that would be great.. thank you.
