hmmmmm?  The system notifies the admins when there are posts awaiting moderation. I have never seen it notify a user that the moderated post had been approved.

That's my goal, Kindred. I want to notify "users" when their post has been approved. On my site, you need to make a minimum number of posts and many users would like to know when their posts are approved before posting again to the same board.

My comment was that - despite what Oldies posted, I have never seen it do this and was not aware that that was ever an actual feature...   (we need a developer to comment, but I'm not sure it belongs in bug reports...   if it is a bug, it is a bug that has existed since beta 1 and has never been reported.)

looking further at the code, i think all that functions here is that once a thread is approved it will send out a notification to those watching the board for new topics, it does not send a message to the person saying it is approved, nor does it send notifications to moderators watching the thread until it is approved.
