Let's just say that the winner(s) of the GameFAQs' greatest game of the decade competition was laughable. Not that Majora's Mask and SSB: Brawl were bad games, but the top 2 games of the decade? lol.

But we're all inclined to our own bias.

For me in no particular order:

Deus Ex
Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist
Planescape Torment
Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic (1)
Grim Fandango

But there were many other potential games I could have put instead. Hard to cut any of them.

Doom.
Doom II.

They inspired so much development, games-wise.

Remember, Doom was originally designed for DOS and it still works with Windows Se7en.

WIth all the wad files around, it's still pretty playable, even now.

X-Com (or its other title, UFO: Enemy Defense)
World of Warcraft

I agree and believe it or not I still play sometimes. Also Duke Nukem was another favorite. Looking forward to the new one coming out this year!

1. Civilization series (my favorite being Civ III)
2. Madden NFL series (the one I played the most probably being Madden 2005 :P)
2a. Ratchet and Clank series (my favorite being Going Commando)
3. Pokemon Generation II (Silver, Gold, Crystal)
4. Grand Theft Auto 3
5. Super Mario for N64

Can't believe there's not more love for Civilization. :P
