PS3 - Bulky or Slim?

I think someone mentioned DA:O - Gotta say that I really don't understand getting most RPGs for PS3 rather than PC (unless you don't have that sort of PC). For me, the flexibility of a keyboard isn't just nice, it's nearly required.
