Scary Movie 3 - An hour of my life I'll never get back

(1/6) > >>

Les Mackenzie:
My wife and I went to see the 'over-hyped' Scary Movie franchises newest installment last night, Scary Movie 3, and although funny at times I found it to be rather drawn out.  Case in point, the original was funny to the pop-culture fan through innuendo and minor plays on a theme.

The most recent installment was plagued with recent pop-culture movie costumes (a combination of awkward themes) and poor humor tied together by what has got to be the worst script since 'John Carpenters - Vampires'.  The subtleties between movie's within the franchise seem to show the de-evolution of these movies as they appear (even the Wyans brothers weren't in this one).

Some parts were really funny but I found the laughs to be few and far between.

Jeff Lewis:
Have to agree. My wife and I went last weekend with a couple of friends and felt the same way...we would have gone to see Kill Bill if my friends girlfriend wasn't such a cranky.....yeah :)

So I have now seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scary Movie 3 before Kill Bill :(

Now thats just wrong, I liked Vampires:P

Shadow:
I loved the movie... I thought it was great... I really loved all the randomness they had in it. I believe y'all are really just in your mid 40s and are just too old to get it. :)

Tim:
The fact that you choose to see it gives you no right to complain about it. Now, if someone draged you into the theater with a gun to your head, that'd be a different matter  ;)
