got a template parse error

<< < (2/4) > >>

Arantor:
That piece might be intentional... there's plenty of cases where SMF does legitimately not include braces when it's only a single statement after the if for the scope of the if - and that might be one of them...

This is why I asked for the actual file, easier to figure out what's intentional by diff'ing to SMF's base.

emanuele:
Yeah, I know, but is closing the brackets without opening one...unless is badly indented. :P

Arantor:
Which is why I asked for the file, knowing that PHP's handling of tabs is also sometimes broken... ;)

kir199123:
still not changed even i have change all the codes given by u :(
i was attaching the file
pls see where the template error pls

emanuele:
If that is all what you have in Display.template.php [1] then it is broken and you have to replace it with a new one from the theme you are using (or from the default theme that you can find in a large upgrade package in the download area of this website).

So, go to downloads here, download a large upgrade, decompress it, go to /Themes/default, and locate the file Display.template.php, then with your ftp client upload this file to your host replacing the one present there in the same directory.

[1] And it is in accordance with the error that it gives.
