Topic: please i need someone to add a sidebar on my forum

i want to sidebar but i dont like 'simpleportal' i have enough space on my 2 sides which i will like to put my adsense
please gurus who will help me? i stumble here http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=478825.0
where people are saying it's possible without 'simpleportal' please help me

Ya, it is possible, but you need to have some good knowledge of CSS / html and ofcourse SMF theme to do it, also you can download any theme with sidebar and learning from it, you can add sidebar in your forum theme.  Check out this theme I created, it has sidebar , from its code you can learn how to add it.

Yes my friend . ut when i add sidebar. it will compress the forum post  instead appearing at the 2 empty spaces
what will i do. i do not like simple portal

johnpaul2k2, there are other portals you could look at, such as TinyPortal, that was made by the legend that is Bloc and is now updated by IchBin one of the SMF Developers.
