*Version 1.4 Revised - Minor Edits - Cleaned up the code a bit and removed an unnecessary database query. Fixed $helptxt not terminating with a semicolon at the end of the string which would cause a fatal error for any mods installed that edited the Help.english.php file after PM Attachments being installed. Thanks to Arantor for pointing this out!!
*Version 1.4 - Added links for All attachments sent to the user via PM, within the users email body if the recipient has selected to Always "Notify by email every time you receive a personal message" within their Profile -> Personal Messaging Options. User must be logged into the site in order to be able to download direct links from within the e-mail. Added this ability by REQUEST! Cheers :)
Version 1.3 - Have completely taken away all rights for Administrator's to be able to see PM Attachments via the Admin Panel. Now all PM Attachments are PRIVATE! Just for the sender or the recipient's EYES ONLY! Added sending of PM Attachments in a personal message when Reporting that personal message to an Admin via "Report to Admin" link for all PM's if the Admin has this security feature enabled. Please encourage your users to Report PM's that have content not suitable for your forums. Added extra deleting capabilities via Admin -> Forum -> Attachments and Avatars -> File Maintenance for PM Attachments, since Administrators can no longer monitor these!
*Version 1.2 - Fixes problem when errors occur during sending of a PM and/or Previewing of a PM that includes attachments. Now it acts exactly like Attachments in Posts, so you can uncheck attachments you don't want to send and/or add more attachments if you need to. Also fixes other minor problems.
*Version 1.1 - Fixes problem with attachments uploading as post_tmp_# instead of the file hash. Also minor edits and fixes throughout this MOD.
Brief Description:
This will allow users to send Attachments via PM. Based from the same code used to display Attachments via Posts, cept now it is completely Private and Secure. Admins can delete PM Attachments based on age, size, username(s) from or to, reported attachments from, and/or how many times all recipients have downloaded/viewed it. Admins can also delete ALL PM Attachments with a click of a button. Choose multiple folder paths, file types allowed, file size for each attachment, or all attachments as a total, and more. Secure - Only allows recipients and the from member to be able to see attachments, all other members will get a NO ACCESS error! Even the Admin(s) will NOT be able to view/download any attachments that have not been sent to, or from them. Reporting of Personal Messages to an Admin will also send any attachments in that message to them as well. As this is the only way the Administrator can know if you receive content from any PM Attachments that is unwanted, or breaks the Terms of Use Agreement at your forums, etc.. So please encourage your members to use this feature if such a situation were to occur. Refer to pics for more details on this MOD!
Important Note: To ensure PM Attachment Settings are correctly placed and loaded, you will be redirected so that your File Cache will be cleared, directly after installing PM Attachments. After which, go to: Forum -> Attachments and Avatars -> PM Attachment Settings and complete setup. Than make sure you have your permissions set for each usergroup. You will notice the permissions for PM Attachments have been added to the Personal Message Permissions.
