Hi,

I just upgraded to 2.0.2 and would like to change my browser title to something different (longer) than the forum title that is entered in the admin area. I know there's a way to do it because I did it on the other SMF version I had but don't have the files anymore.

I ONLY want to change the browser title on the main index page. I am good with the posts being the broswer title for the other pages.

So just to clarify, I want to change the browser title on the index page to be something longer than the forum name (so I don't want to simply change the forum name). By browser title I mean what's between the <title> brackets.

Thanks so much for any help you provide and as always, please respond with language that a 3rd grader could understand.

I just put 120+ characters in my title area (haven't checked what the limit is).

Wouldn't that be enough?

Yes, but how would that all fit? I want the title that shows on the page to be different than the title that shows on top of the browser between the <title> brackets.
