How Can I Remove the Forum Tables And Create Links Instead?

Yes, Adsense for mobile phones. Is there any resource you can point me to?

And before I forget, I'd like to say a huge thank you for your help and promptness.

Arantor:
Maybe going to Google and searching for 'Adsense for Mobile'?

cliFinc:
I have tried to implement Adsense for mobile on my phpBB forum to no avail. This is why I considered switching platforms and trying out SMF. Can I directly apply Adsense for Mobile on an SMF site or do I need a mod? Is there a way I can create a mobile version of my site and make mobile devices detect the mobile version automatically? These are some of the questions I want answered

Arantor:
SMF has a mobile version, but it's designed for the last generation of mobile phones, not the current generation.

Implementing it is not simple: there are three different 'mobile' modes, all designed for old-school mobile use, and almost all the mobile phones out there today are quite happy to read SMF in non-mobile mode.

The easiest way of adding ads is the Ad Management mod, but it doesn't use any of the old-style mobile setups.

Better question: what kind of phones are you actually trying to target? 'All mobile phones' is not a valid question to this question, because it's not possible to target all mobile phones in one single way, you have to do different code for older phones vs newer phones vs desktop.

Honestly, though, I wouldn't worry about getting ads in place, I'd honestly worry about getting content in there in the first place - no-one wants to go to a forum with little content and just ads.
