Would someone mind helping me with some errors on a theme?

First off, I'm kind of annoyed.. here is what the author of the theme told me:

Also not sure if your aware but the links in the header get messed up if you have a lot and look at it on a smaller screen.. I attached an image from my phone..

I'm not worried about the package installer. Its probably an easy css fix that you could do yourself. Maybe if I release another version I will do it but right now its not an issue.
Nothing I can do about that besides hiding what is left over on the nav bar... Don't clutter your nav bar and you will be fine.

First off, it's not my theme why should "I" have to be the one to fix your mistakes, second off rude.. I will clutter my Nav bar as much as I want to!
Anyways the theme is the Vertex theme by MLM
First problem I have is when installing a package, "a simple CSS" error I suppose? No idea how to fix it because I don't write themes.. here is my original post on that:

Second problem is the menu, and I know that one may be a bit harder so any help you need let me know and I will try my best to accommodate.. here is my post on that:

I have also attached images of both problems, thank you for anyone who can provide assistance!

Suki:
For your first issue, when installing a new mod and that page appears, use something like opera dragonfly or firefox firebug to see what is the id or class that controls that part, then you can modify that class or add a new o one to change the text's color.
As for the menu, I suggest you to merge some of your buttons, keep only a few as primary buttons and the rest as secondary buttons under another common button.
For example, put the help, login and register button under the home button, perhaps the search as well.
It is far more easy to group your buttons than modifying your theme.

See I didn't even think to check the CSS class that way, and that actually sounds like a good idea for the menu's.. is there possibly a mod that could do that for me?
**EDIT**
Awesome, fixed the CSS error.. now hopefully it doesn't mess with anything else lol..
