Database Error
MrPhil:
You can bring up phpMyAdmin and look for the table smf_shoutbox_settings. If it doesn't exist, did you install this mod manually or using the package manager? It looks like either way, the smf-2.0.x_install.php script didn't get run (presumably this creates the table).

You need to run the query from the install.php script manually too using phpMyAdmin then SQL to create the table and its entries then the mod should work. At the moment its looking for a table and data thats not there.
Make a backup if theres anything important in your database before making changes though!
DarkBeast:
How would I install it automaticly? I could just take the forum off cause I haven't done anything important yet.
nightbre:
You could either replace the themes and sources folders with new ones so all the files are back to original versions or install completely from fresh again. You could just go back in and remove the edits depending how many you did but replacing the files effected is probably the easiest.
Once your forums cleaned up then download the mod you want to use then upload it to your forums Packages folder. Once its there you can go to Admin > Package Manager and if you scroll down you will see the mod you uploaded with the option to install it. If it says testing was ok then install it but if it has any errors show then you need to try and resolve them first.
