[Preview] MOH-Warfighter V2

(1/2) > >>

themegenius:
This is a preview of my completly re-worked MOH-Warfighter. Ive completely reworked this theme from scratch to stop people saying ive copied some one elses theme's.

This theme is based on the default theme. Its for the game Medal Of Honor Warfighter.

I created Version 2 of this theme as some people here seem to think i copy themes and i do not.

I created this theme using CSS with a Gradient instead of the main_block.png.

All work is my original creation and NOT a copy nor replica of other theme's in any way shape or form.

you can view a demo Here

This theme is only compatable with SMF version 2.0 only.

Before anyone asks, all of my themes and mods ect will be released free of charge. I never charge for my work but all i ask is that if you like one of my themes or mods then please be kind enough to make a small donation (but you dont have to).

Hoping you welcome feedback, I have to question whether you consider this theme finished?

The background MOH and soldier is all wrong.  Even in your own preview screenshots various MOH logos overlay other stuff and the warfighter part of the background image is completely lost.  View on larger screens say 1920 widths and your demo clearly shows the background image is justifying left leaving blank white on the right.  But is there any point in having such a large background image much of which is then obliterated by the forum?

i welcome all feedback good or bad.

I concider the theme finished but it can easily be edited and reuploaded.

How do you suggest i solve the background problem please

I don't like it tbh. You can see sloppy work everywhere, top&bottom slices are different than the sides, you didn't bother to change all the icons from the default pack which doesn't look good at all (i.e. redirections). Menu bar is too short (I'm guessing due to a missing div or padding problem), and the biggest issue - you're using the same gradient everywhere, which doesn't look good, because of the size differences.
If you turn off the background image all you have left is a sloppy dark theme with no connection to the game I'm afraid.

One of the themes I would never use personally.

Firstly Thank you for your honesty, I really do appreciate it. Im just starting out designing theme's for SMF so please bear with me as it will be a lot of hit and miss.

Please provide some tips on rectifying the problems you have mentioned.
