Facebook Connect and Application ID

PLAYBOY:
I am one of the very few people nowadays, who insist on NOT HAVING A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!

Anyways i came to a point that i wanna have "Facebook Connect" in one of my websites so people can login with their facebook login info. All i need is an application is and (maybe) an application secret.

I am not familiar with either of them.
Is there a way to get an application id without facebook account?
and what is this application id stuff anyways :)

You will NEED a facebook account, there's no way to get a application ID without the info being exposed since it's tied to FB account.

Ok. well how do you get an application id after you have an account?
