Installed mods not working?

<< < (2/6) > >>

Ashelia:
I got an answer to my email a few minutes ago, actually!

They told me that I can disable it myself using the .htaccess file, but I have no idea how to do this. Any tips?

K@:
Yep.

Open the .htaccess file, in the root of your public_html directory (Where Settings.php is, usually) and add this line:

SecFilterEngine Off

Beware. This sort of stuff can make your brain go gaga. ;)

Ashelia:
I can't seem to find any .htaccess file in my root. Strange.

K@:
Have you set whatever you're using to see "Hidden files"?

Might be that. ;)

Ashelia:
Yep! I use Filezilla and set it to 'Force showing hidden files', but there's still no .htaccess. ><
