How do you enable navigation above and below a thread?

I've look all over the options for this but haven't been able to find it yet. Is this easily turned on?

Admin > Configuration > Current theme


Show current position in forum as link instead of text: <--- Check this option.

I checked the settings and that box is already checked, but I don't see the nav links.

It's your theme. Those navigation links are there in the default CURVE theme, so you need to check the settings for that particular theme or ask the theme creator to fix it for you.

Also, that theme breaks the Simple Machines Rules as it has removed the copyright norice at the bottom which is totally unacceptable!
