When I log in to admin panel, i get a message( You're using an outdated version of SMF, which contains some bugs which have since been fixed. It is recommended that you update your forum to the latest version as soon as possible. It only takes a minute! )

I have downloaded smf_2-0-2_upgrade file, but when i try to upload it, it says The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.

Also, i registered a new domain this morning,     and i am trying to get my forum on it, so when address is typed in browser  it takes user direct to forum.

Please help, am a newbie and am lost.

You can't upgrade, using Package manager.

I'd suggest reading my sig, first.

Then, upgrade to SMF v1.1.16, using this:

Then, if you want to go to v2.0.2, we can go from there.  :)

I am totally lost, every time i go to upload the file i downloaded, it just comes up with a error saying The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted
