青山 素子:
If you have recommended translation text, you could contact the internationalization team, or even join as a language translator if you want to help with the translation effort.

Was this issue clarified or solved?

I still have new (legitimate-Japanese language users) who are clueless as to the need to check their e-mail for activation.

I understand that SMF may wish to keep a standard format across all languages, but could this page highlight the need to check their e-mail, for at least a few generations of SMF, as it becomes more widely used in Japan? (and perhaps other language regions, too).

Then, as now, version 1.1.11 is being used, and I don't know if there's been a change for the upcoming v2, so no change. It seems that v2 will never come out and appears to me to be in a permanent stage of beta-ness. Is the a scheduled release for the full v2, yet?
