Different "Default" Theme

I don't really like messing with having different themes, especially uploading. I just like the default theme(s.) However, in 2.0 the theme is sort of dull. So, in 3.0 or a future release of 2.0, I'd just like for the default theme to be changed as some people (such as I) are too "lazy" to upload, download themes.

Sorry if this topic is dumb and it's a dumb request.  ;D

The standard theme will probably always be a bit "dull". It's specifically meant to be somewhat generic and uncontroversial so a wide range of users will find it to be okay.

well, personally, I *LIKE* the Curve/default theme...    and if you don't, then just install one of the MANY alternatives.

there will probably be a "new" default theme when 3.0 finally comes out, but it is unlikely to be "exciting" as you want.
