Now, my cmoputer is networked to this cmoputer (my dad's).  However, for some reason, I can't access my program files from this cmoputer despite all share permissions for that folder being active.  How can I fix this? :)

XP is hateful.  It protects the Program Files directory... you'll either have to share it explicitly (not sure you can..) or share one of it's subfolders.
