Title pretty much says it all, now there's a lot of threads like this, but couldn't find anything. Specifically I would like to have a popup that works like vBulletin's or have system that works like theirs in general. Love smf, but since my site is mostly devs posting to most sites, them having to change is a little annoying to them. Thanks guys!

Well, it doesn't say much, all I understand was  you need help but that is pretty much implied already since this is a support forum, thus, everyone needs help here ;)

What kind of pop up? to do what exactly?

Then having to change to what exactly?  I'm sorry but I just couldn't understand your post.

With that said I highly doubt anyone will mess with the editor, it is a monster and you will end up breaking more than you will fix if you go there.

Just enable the actual editor by default or by clicking: 

Now when you click the button, a dialog modal will appear.
