Fear of flying

<< < (5/10) > >>

Joel:
There's hardly anything to worry about. I mean, heck, if the plane falls apart in the air you definitely won't have to worry about surviving. ;)

small? as in the size of a destroyer and smaller? Destroyers have been known to capsize in storms.

Want to get over your fear of flying? Learn the parachute landing fall (PLF). Make sure you can do it from 10,000 feet. Or just HALO jump.

Hovercrafts are hardly safe... no brakes, no way of stopping besides turning around and putting the fans on. Planes have it much better. They have no obstructions. They can go in every direction but reverse.

IMO, safest mode of transportation.. good ole double time. No, not walking, I can't walk (unless it is a range walk)

mattsiegman:
Planes crash... You should see the General Aviation reports for the US... a lot of idiots get themselves killed because they are idiots...

Joshua Dickerson:
lol I know a lot about planes crashing. I do search and rescue missions for them ;)
